Pongal is a harvest festival celebrated to give thanks to Surya, the Sun God for the blessings of a bountiful harvest. Celebrated over 4 days, festivities include the making of pongal, as well as honouring of cattle for their farm work. Get crafty this Pongal with IHC as we celebrate the harvest thanksgiving festival with a line-up of fun activities showcasing rich crafting traditions. There is something for everyone, from kids to adults. Free admission for all on weekends.
