Inspired by the song ‘You are my sunshine’ by Johnny Cash, this piece is a reminder to our dear self, that we are in charge of our own lives. Before all the prejudice and bias of the world reached us, we were like a newborn baby. This world changed a lot of opinions, views and judgments about one’s self. One‘s true self is right there, buried under other people’s opinions, and inaccurate conclusions drawn as a child that became the beliefs about who we are. Find this true self again. Knowing that the world has dulled our view towards things wefound pleasant. Find the Sun within yourself.
